Attitudinal Disjuncts
Attitudinal disjuncts convey the speaker’s comment on the content of what is being said.They generally appear only in declarative clauses.

Attitudinal disjuncts express the speaker’s attitude or opinion about the content, often conveying emotion or evaluation.
Examples of Attitudinal Disjuncts in Declarative Clauses:

Understandably, they were all annoyed when they read the letter.

CONJUNCTS

(A) Adverb Phrase Conjuncts:

(B) Prepositional Phrase Conjuncts:

(b) Contrasting ideas:

Meanwhile, next, then show changes in timing or order.
(d) Summarizing or concluding:
In conclusion, to sum up, finally signal that the discussion is ending.
Examples:
